This studio is exclusively designed for those who prefer a modern approach to design. Large original windows and brick complement the space. This studio offers a little more legroom for larger projects.

Green Yard

House of Julia holds one of the only green yard spaces in the City of Baytown. This unique space brings tranquility and an urban green space flare to the historical art district that it sits in. Perfect for any outdoor event. At night the space can be lit up by our already placed hanging lights.

Selfie Booths

Our selfie booths are available to anyone booking for a photoshoot, event and even for guest wanting to come snap a few pictures with their phone by the hour!

Available for professional photographers needing a space to host their clients. Our photography studio includes backdrops and props that are available for use. During your booking, the entire space including the green yard is available to you.

Our photo booths are for anyone looking to bring their personal phones and take pictures throughout House of Julia's unique space! We have ring lights and photo booths that we know you will love!

Events

Our unique setup and outside green yard are the perfect setting for your small event. Birthday parties, bridal or baby showers, pop-up shops, book clubs...etc.. Outside catering and decor welcome. You can even have the photo booths available for your party guest to use!

How it Works

1. VIEW THE SPACE

We do have pictures online to give you the best possible view of our space but we also suggest that you take time to view our space in-person to make sure that it is the perfect fit for your event. Once you determine that House of Julia is where you would like to host your event you can move to Step 2.

2. SUBMIT A EVENT BOOKING REQUEST

Not only does our event booking form provide us with important information about your requested date, time, and the scope of your project, it also places your specific request tentatively on our calendar as well. This will put you in priority for the selected date/time you requested as well as tentatively reserve it on our calendar.

3. WAIT FOR CONFIRMATION

Once you have submitted your request, we ask for 24 - 48 hours to process the request. Please do not schedule/confirm your project in our space until you have received email confirmation via our booking invitation. Your appointment booking is not considered complete until the rental agreement and rental retainer has also be received.

 

Event Booking

**House of Julia does not provide decorators, caterers, etc. Please ensure that the date and times with your event staff are finalized by the time your rental agreement and payment are completed.

*Please keep in mind that your start time must include any time needed to decorate or set up prior to your event.

FAQs

 

DO YOU ALLOW TOURS?

Yes, of course! Please click here to schedule a viewing. Our schedule changes quite frequently and we have found that a real-time conversation is the best way to find a time and date that works for our clients.

HOW DO I BOOK?

Booking our studio is fairly simple. Once you have decided that House of Julia will be the right fit for your event. Fill out our contact form with that information and we will start the booking process. Please refrain from scheduling our space with clients until you have received a written response from us that your booking is confirmed.

CAN I ARRIVE EARLY?

When selecting a rental duration during the booking process, please consider the arrival, set-up, and break-down times of your project. To keep prices competitive, we do not allow early arrival and required that all clients be walking out the door at the end of their scheduled rental time.

HOW MANY GUESTS?

When possible for events, we request that the guest count is limited to 35 persons in studio. If the outside area is used in conjunction with the inside an extra 10-15 people can be included. Exceeding this guest limit requires expressed (written) consent by a team member in the rental agreement. 

DO YOU ALLOW VIDEO?

We are not a dedicated video sound stage and cannot guarantee the audio quality captured within our space due to outside ambient noise. Video productions where no audio is being recorded are welcomed without any hesitation.

IS FOOD ALLOWED?

We have no issues with clients catering food or simply bringing in lunch during their project. We do not have a kitchen. We only ask that any messes be cleaned prior to the end of your scheduled time. We DO NOT allow the sale of alcohol on House of Julia premises

CAN I ADD MORE TIME?

As photographers, we understand that sessions can run longer than expected. If there are no rentals following your scheduled appointment, additional time can be added so long as the team member is available to accommodate the request.

 

HOW DO I CANCEL?

OUTSIDE 48 HOURS: A client may reschedule a confirmed booking and have their *retainer credited for a future date.

INSIDE 48 HOURS: A client may not reschedule a confirmed booking without forfeiting their paid fee.
